State Route 435 is an east-west state highway in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Ohio. Its western terminus is at U.S. Route 35 approximately 5½ southwest of Jeffersonville, and its eastern terminus is at State Route 729 4½ miles south of Jeffersonville.

State Route 435 was once a proposed limited-access north-south highway in Portage County and Stark County, as a result of a regional planning reports. Connections in Portage would have been at State Route 14, State Route 59, State Route 261, Interstate 76 and U.S. Route 224. Connections in Stark would have been at State Route 619, State Street NE, State Route 173, U.S. Route 62, State Route 153, State Route 172, U.S. Route 30 and would have terminated at State Route 183 in Sandy. Designed to relieve traffic from State Route 43 and State Route 44, its centerline was 1 mile east of State Route 43. However, the plan never took off. Instead, the city of Kent and Brimfield Township have started expanding State Route 43 from 2 lanes to 4 to provide better access to Interstate 76.
