María Xiao (Portuguese: Maria Xiao, Chinese: 肖瑶茜; pinyin: Xiào Yáoqiàn; born 19 May 1994 in Barcelona) is a Portuguese-Spanish table tennis player. Born in Barcelona to Chinese parents and raised in Madeira,[2] she represented Portugal before 2012 and Spain afterwards.[3] She was Portugal's reserve player for the 2012 Summer Olympics.[4] As of October 2019, she is Spain's best-ranked player.[1]
