Maybe I'm getting mixed up here but I can't see a single source on this page what so ever, and it makes some rather grandiose claims.

Unoffical vs official

Please clarify what exactly this phrase means.

The first town to be officially made a "Naukograd" in 2000

Before that the article spoke about Soviet Union. Was this term used in Soviet times? In what sense? certainly, secret cities were not known as "naukograds": they were secret, weren't they? So some parts of this article better suit for a tabloid, (like, "slave labor" phrases (removed)), rather than for encyclopedia. mikka (t) 18:26, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Slave labor

After some tweaking of the intro, the Gulag phrase does not look sensationalist, and I will not object, although the quoted reference is not authoritative. I am well aware that Gulag labor was used in their construction; just as it was used in thousands of other locations in the Soviet Union. I will think how to non-obtrusively say this in the article, otherwise it looks like something: "Whoah! They were so secret that they were built by slaves! (Did they slaughter the builders in the best traditions of Dark Ages?)" mikka (t) 20:23, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Sounds fine to me. thames 22:12, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Uhhh... sources?
