SIGOS is a German-based company that provides active testing and fraud detection software for telecommunication companies, governmental instances (regulators)[1][2], banks and automobile manufacturers. SIGOS has its headquarters in Nuremberg, Germany. Other offices are located in Ghent, Belgium in Singapore and in San Mateo, California.[3]

Their most recent annual conference was held at Messe in the headquarters' hometown Nuremberg in July 2018.[4][5]

History

The company was founded in 1989.[6] Their current CEO is Adil Kaya[7] who joined the company in 1990. He has been the Managing Director since 2008[8].

In April 2006, the US based Keynote Systems acquired SIGOS for US$30 million, renaming it 'Keynote SIGOS'.[9]

In January 2014, Keynote-SIGOS acquired the Ghent-based company named Meucci Solutions[10][11] (named after the inventor of the telephone Antonio Meucci).

In June 2015, SIGOS' owner Keynote Systems merged with Dynatrace,[12] the latter having John Van Siclen as acting CEO.[13][14]

In January 2016, Keynote SIGOS acquired Keynote DeviceAnywhere,[15][10] a company located in San Mateo, California that is specialised in testing of mobile applications (apps). They rebranded the DeviceAnywhere product as 'App Experience' (abbreviated AppEx) shortly afterwards.

In 2017, the company's name was simplified into SIGOS.
