Trent Dalton is an Australian journalist and literary fiction author. His critically acclaimed debut fiction novel Boy Swallows Universe was published in 2018.[1] He is currently a staff writer for The Weekend Australian.[2] At the 2019 Australian Book Industry Awards he received Book of the Year, Literary Book of the Year, New Writer of the Year and Audiobook of the Year.[3] He has also written for screen[4], published a non-fiction novel[5], and hosted a podcast.[6] His second novel, All Our Shimmering Skies, will be released in June 2020.[7]
