Please restore deleted page for Cambridge Innovation Capital (CIC)

Hi Jim,

I created this page in good faith as I could not find information about this company on Wikipedia - my usual go to place for information. I did however find pages of other companies that referenced them on the Wikipedia site. Admittedly, I am a novice to Wikipedia editing so I looked at content of similar companies listed in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_venture_capital_firms for layout, typical content and general HTML guidance. So my submission may not meet some strict criteria you have used to judge the content upon. If there are any specific elements/content I have omitted or elements/content I should have included, please clarify/assist.

Can you possibly return the article to its previous draft status and I will see to it that all guidelines/improvements you highlighted are adhered to before I resubmit.

GarthTolmie I can't see where you have responded to the COI query, you need to do that. Also check whether you can actually find independent third-party sources to support what you claim. Advantage Go deleted page

Hi Jim,

I created this page for Advantage Go in line with Wikipedia's instructuctional pages. While I understand why the page may be deemed to be advertising the brand, I would like to suggest that I edit the text to be from more of a neutral standpoint? I believe the page provides useful information and with edits and additional comments, can provide insightful information around the industry. Speedy deletion of SpriteCloud page

Hi,

I received a notice that the SpriteCloud page was to be deleted. I understand this seems to be because you might have felt it was too promotional, i.e. A7.

Is there a possibility for me to edit this to reduce the chances of it be too promotional? And was there anything that stuck out as too promotional. I tried to replicate the Wikipedia entries I see of other businesses and would be happy to make it even more factual. Perhaps there were too many links in the entry?

Speedy deletion of Leinster Trophy page

Jim, My Leinster Trophy page was tagged for speedy deletion due to copyright infringement of an online article that I was the author of. https://motorsport.ie/2018/09/12/leinster-trophy-75th-anniversary-facts-figures-by-brian-manning/ It was always my intention to use the article as the basis of wikipedia entry for this subject. BrianF1Man, if you want to donate your text to be used for any purpose, including commercial, as we require here, the simplest way is to label the website as public domain or CC BY-SA 3.0 Licensed, That in itself doesn't guarantee the article will be accepted though, make sure you understand the guidance in the welcome message on your talk page. An article sourced only to yourself unlikely to be adequate, we need independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to the organisation or company, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, logs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the company or organisation claims or interviewing its management. Thanks for the feedback. I'll work on getting the article "donated" and I'm also going to completely rework it. I wasn't expecting a review so quickly (I'd been told it took 6 months) and I wanted to get in the queue. I have proper citations for the information in the article (Printed and archival) and only used my own article primarily as a placeholder. Can you restore the article to me so I can use (the table at least) in the revised version? If it is easiest you can just email it to me. Many thanks for the guidance. I am unsure why you deleted the page I was creating for NYC Mayoral candidate Dianne Morales. I am a volunteer of hers and was tasked with creating her page. Hi my draft was rejected because of references to content on the subjest's website. I was intending to address, and I assumed I had more than 24 hours to fix. Note that i wrote the copy on the webstite I was quoting many years ago so it came naturally to use it again. Error when creating page

Hi Jimfbleak,

I actually made a mistake. I wanted to create a page on Gauthierite, not on myself! The title is wrong. Then I could not modify the title nor delete it, so I created a second page... Could you please delete the one about "Marine Gauthier" and just review the one on Gauthierite (it's a mineral, not me !)

Hi there Jim! My name is Vee and I was building a page for Alex J. I am not him. It is my first entry in wikipedia and I want to understand why the page was deleted? It is not a self-written autobiography and I cited several sources. It would be great if the article was approved and someone could chip in and help polish it. Is it a matter of sources? If you look at the Despacito wikipedia article, both Alex J and his Studio Noisematch Studio are cited there but not referenced since the profile for Alex J does not exists. Credit is also shown on "La Música No Se Toca" by Alejandro Sanz (credits for Noisematch Studios). I am trying to do this right but there's something I am not seeing. I appreciate the help in advance.

Nat, he's probably notable, and it has sources now. The language is florid, but could be toned down, so no objections if you wish to undelete. Re-Advise Speedy-Deletion

Hi @Jimfbleak: Ive created the Draft Draft:Downtown_(2020) That you deleted for not having proper references / possible being notable? I was not really done with writing the article / stating facts about the actual "Film" and such. The main reference I did have on the article was a IMDb Source which I found out was not "notable" enough for a source within Wikipedia. I was wondering would it be possible to un-do the deletion of the draft so I could continue to work/fix?

And to also to mention the text provided was written by me, and not taken from another source/directory. I wrote the Plot/Story line of Downtown as the Producer, and Copyright Holder of the actual Film. (And I am pretty sure) following the Wikipedia Guidelines, I did follow the rules/guidelines given while writing it to not provide copyright, promotion, and advertising details as the only linked sourced was the IMDb which is not promoting, just showing a source of the actual film.

Why have you deleted my drafts, "Coconut Bliss", "Planet Oat", "So Delicious (company)", and "Remini (app)"?

JEEZ, THEY ARE DRAFTS for Pete’s sake! I was not intending for them to be “promotional” when I got done with them! I was still working on them....You could have at least gave me a warning and left a message on my talk page saying something along the lines of, “please don’t word them like that, as currently they seem awfully promotional”. I thought you were supposed to have all the time in the world to edit your draft and revise it and THEN, when you think it looks good, submit it to see if it fits Wikipedia’s criteria (or just publish it immediately if you’re an experienced user and you know how to write good articles). But I didn’t know I was being judged when the drafts were created only a few hours earlier and not even submitted for review. And how come I only got a notification of the speedy deletion of Coconut Bliss, how come not any of the other ones which I noticed were also deleted when I went to edit them?
