yup. It would be fun to see a rocket made from 100% HTPB, though.[[Special:Contributions/204.44.137.252|204.44.137.252]] ([[User talk:204.44.137.252|talk]]) 03:47, 31 July 2020 (UTC) |

Discrepancy
The description in this page's section "Reliability", of the GPS IIR-1 launch failure, differs significantly from the description on the page GPS IIR-1#Launch. That page specifically details the activation of the rocket's flight termination system.

Are there any sources for the claims made by the article, or the counter-claims made in "Edit summary" comments? (sdsds - talk) 04:04, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

"GEM is a high-performance", "proven themselves to be reliable" (and then the description of accident), messed up sources or sources linking to 404 pages or pages with no content described in the article or some random blogs instead of proper reliable sources... Is that an advertisement of Alliant Techsystems? Cause it feels like one, not a proper, encyclopedic article. I don't want to touch it, cause if it'd be up to me - I'd remove over half of the article content and leave it as a stub... SkywalkerPL (talk) 14:33, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
- Removed "background" section, which was full of 404 links, removed advert-sounding wording, added reliable citations, added infobox with info from ATK product guide. Ended up removing about half the article, but most of what was covered in "background" could be found in the article on SRMs. Still needs editing and probably a section on development of the motors if reliable citations can be found.
