Medew naming

I noticed that you moved the article without discussion. You'll see a (very little) bit of talk about the name at Talk:Medeo, where I commented that it is Wikipedia policy to use the more common name. I understand the issues with the transliteration not being entirely sensible, but that's not really relevant. Therefore I'd like to move the page back to "Medeo". Any comments? I'll watch here. Before the beginning of the huge job you are planning ([1], [2]), let me inform you that we are currently using the following rules for Ukrainian geographic names:
(1) If there is a single well-established English name, we use that name;
(2) Otherwise, we use the Ukrainian National simplified system.
If you think the rules are not appropriate, please voice your opinion at Talk:Romanization of Ukrainian, Wikipedia talk:Romanization of Ukrainian, or, with respect to geographic names at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ukrainian subdivisions. Thanks, MapLover 09:30, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
