Discretionary sanctions alert

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Warning

If you continue to add unreliable content, you may be sanctioned. Please use the article talk page to gain consensus for your changes by substantiating. Thank you. El_C 04:18, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

It is the RFE/RL Armenian branch (Azatutyun), for sure a reliable site. The official announcement is both in Armenian and Russian. What is the problem? GevHev4 (talk) 04:20, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is the English Wikipedia. Either find a source in English or do the proper translation of relevant excerpts from the source on the article talk page and wait for confirmation by other editors that the changes are valid. El_C 04:25, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It is a current event. the 90% of the sources there are in Azerbaijani or Armenian. No edit in that article was previously confirmed at talk. GevHev4 (talk) 04:28, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I'm using the discretionary sanctions to compel you to do so on this occasion. El_C 04:29, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
OK, could you ask to do so also in this case - [1]? all the sources are in Azerbaijani, and I'm not fluent in Azerbaijani. Thanks. GevHev4 (talk) 04:35, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. Will do. El_C 04:38, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for constructive discussion. GevHev4 (talk) 04:40, 16 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring noticeboard discussion

Information icon Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. Thank you. –Darkwind (talk) 06:20, 17 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2020 Armenian–Azerbaijani skirmishes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chinari (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:16, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Artak Movsisyan moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Artak Movsisyan, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.   // Timothy :: talk  07:41, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Do you believe the head of Armenian History chair at Yerevan State University is not notable enough? I suppose it is the main Armenian history research center in Armenia (if not in the world). GevHev4 (talk) 07:55, 2 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Armenians in Lebanon, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vatican.

(Opt-out instructions.) --DPL bot (talk) 06:21, 9 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Russian chanson, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Boka.

Regarding my edit

@GevHev4: Here, I removed all indicents and protests, if you look at Incidents during the 2020 Armenian–Azerbaijani clashes, they are here present. + Removed reactions from political parties, as well as in Turkey and France. Beshogur (talk) 10:42, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You were discussing different edits at talk. Please discuss any new POV-changes at article's talk. Thanx. GevHev4 (talk) 10:44, 30 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
