I receive any messages here.

Good job

I just wanted to say good job standing up against these wannabe authoritarians on here who try to control every aspect of editing a page that doesn't meet their obviously skewed criteria. You went about it the right way and set a good example of how to deal with these kinds of issue I too have encountered as an editor. I'm sure Cassiopeia will probably try to revert the Conor McGregor page when she sees it but I fully support the change and agree with you 100%. We as editors have a duty to not be biased to a certain source we favor when other more reliable, accurate, sources are available and you did a good job upholding that principle so kudos to you friend. Right now all I can say is thanks. I feel you. Don't worry about her or her friends whether they are editors or admins. Neither she nor anyone can override the policies of Wikipedia and the common sense. They can't game the system by a few of them getting together.Lordpermaximum (talk) 01:26, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Tony Ferguson and dan Henderson heights , mma height and weights in general

Hello , I am coming here to you and want you to help me from having users like Cassiopeia and nedochan from ruining wiki pages with vandalism . Please take a look at Tony Ferguson’s height which is listed in the ufc at 5’11 but for some reason his wiki page says 6’0 . Basically the same issue with the mcgregor page a few days ago . They use Sherdog as a reliable source . Do something about it like you did with the mcgregor page and let’s stop them from reverting such accurate edits . Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikiman122112 (talkcontribs) 15:13, 15 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiman122112, I can't do anything for it, yet. But you can do something about it. The place you're looking for is WP:RSN#Responses_(Sherdog.com). I voted for option 4 there but you can vote for whatever option you like. Vote there, if you want your voice to be heard. Best, Lordpermaximum (talk) 17:16, 15 October 2020 (UTC).[reply]

Disruptive editing

If you change anyone else's post in that RFC again - in any way, including font size, indent, strike-thru, spelling, location, or anything else - you'll be blocked from editing Wikipedia. And if you alter your own posts after they've been replied to again, I will partially block you from WP:RSN for the duration of the RFC. You are making it impossible for other editors to have an organized serious conversation. I am becoming more convinced that your disruption can only be solved by an indef block, but I will hold off to see if you change your behavior. --Floquenbeam (talk) 14:51, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry Floquenbeam. Please give it to my inexperience. Practically, I've only been editing in the wikipedia since last week and I'm very inexperienced in such matters. But if you say so, then I will abide. Still, I thought User:Jimbo Wales/Statement of principles, WP:DNB, WP:NPA, WP:CIV and WP:Administrators would tolarete my behaviour a bit more welcoming than you calling me a douche or accusing me with having a previous account(diff).
From now on I ask you to just give me one (1) warning right if I do something wrong without knowing, other than the things you mentioned of course which you can be assured that won't be repated again.
However, this shouldn't mean I won't keep my right to request for comment on the suitability of you being an administrator for your personal attacks and uncivil behaviour. Best wishes, Perm 15:06, 16 October 2020 (UTC).[reply]
Floquenbeam, I want to ask before doing something wrong, can I edit my vote comment (not the vote), if it's not replied to? I don't plan on doing it but I just wanted to know because that's largely what I did there. Thanks in advance, Perm 15:38, 16 October 2020 (UTC).[reply]
If it has not been replied to or referred to, you can theoretically change it. But even then, practically speaking it is better to strike thru whatever part you want to change, and note the change in a post below it. --Floquenbeam (talk) 15:45, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Floquenbeam, I will bear that in mind in the future. Best, Perm 15:49, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cut it out

If you continue to WP:HOUND me, I will go to ANI. NEDOCHAN (talk) 15:18, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

What's your basis for that? Reverting your edits on Tony_Ferguson for the violation of WP:RS? You're acussing me of something I did not commit, so you should read WP:ASPERSIONS. However if you don't stop vandalising pages, you'll be blocked, soon.Perm 15:26, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Style in MMA fighters' articles

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Mixed_martial_arts#Infobox_martial_artist

Do not use the style parameter from the

Lordpermaximum

in MMA biographical articles. Modern MMA requires training several fighting styles, which means that no mixed martial artist uses a single style when fighting. References that describe martial arts ranks (i.e. black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu) and/or martial arts training (i.e. training boxing) are not evidence of fighting style and are not valid to justify a fighting style in an infobox. Do not add your own interpretation of a fighting style. The style parameter should only be used in MMA fighters that have participated professionally or in international competitions in other combat sports (i.e. boxing or kickboxing) and who are notable in said sports and deserve an article for their merits in these other sports (i.e. Antônio Rogério Nogueira, Alistair Overeem). It is suggested to MMA editors that they actively remove the style parameter in infoboxes of MMA fighters that do not meet these criteria.

Again I reiterate that if you continue to hound me, you will be reported.NEDOCHAN (talk) 15:22, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No wikiproject can override WP:RS and deny the usage of green sources from WP:RSP. If you continue to do it, you'll be reported for vandalism.Perm 15:26, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
