Organization & History

The organizational body, Shri Ram Chandra Mission (SRCM), was formally registered in 1945 by Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur [5][6]. Shri Ram Chandra was born on April 30, 1899 in Shahjahanpur, in a large town in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India and attained mahāsamādhi on April 19, 1983, at the age of 83 [7][8]. As part of the Sahaj Marg spiritual practice, 'Babuji' (As Shri Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur was informally known) adopted a technique called 'pranahuti' as taught by his spiritual master, 'Lalaji'.[9]

The global headquarters of the organization is in Kanha Shanti Vanam, near Hyderabad, Telangana India. It was inaugurated by The President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind in February 2020 [10].
