- 18:5218:52, 13 March 2022 diff hist +33 New Complexity Undid revision 1033519277 by SQGibbon (talk) The composer won numerous awards, had premieres by Ensemble Modern, and the New York Philharmonic, and invented a technique to modulate between any two sets of polyrhythms. Seems notable enough to me. See the Graziela Bortz reference already included Tag: Undo
- 18:3918:39, 13 March 2022 diff hist +677 N Harmonic Materials of Modern Music ←Created page with 'A book on Set theory (music) by composer Howard Hanson that overlaps significantly with composer Elliott Carter's ''Harmony Book'' and theorist Allen Forte's subsequent ''Structure of Atonal Music''. Hanson's theory was one of the first to examine all sets of pitches in terms of their specific interval content, independent of tonality, chord root, or consonance versus dissonance. ==External links== * Hanson, Howard (1960) [https://archive....'

- 18:0118:01, 6 July 2021 diff hist +2 m Milton Babbitt Since Babbitt was apparently not religiously observant, it makes more sense to state his being Jewish in terms of the family he was born into. Anything more might imply a religious orientation for which isn't substantiated. Tag: Undo

- 01:1101:11, 15 September 2020 diff hist −300 Serialism →Theory of twelve-tone serial music: Deleting this final paragraph because it doesn't make sense and bears almost no relation to any serial compositions or to any competent scholarly literature on the subject. It sounds like an attempt, by someone with little or no hands-on experience, to explain a synopsis of a someone else's summary and it comes out garbled.
- 01:0701:07, 15 September 2020 diff hist −4 Serialism →Theory of twelve-tone serial music: Corrected use of the word "aggregate" at the start of the penultimate paragraph. Although a series is an aggregate, the word aggregate is more typically used to refer to the combination of a row subset and complementary subset of another row form, as the remainder of the paragraph tries to explain.
- 00:0500:05, 15 September 2020 diff hist +500 Serialism →Theory of twelve-tone serial music: Corrected a gross and misleading oversimplification about aggregates and recurrence of elements from a series.

- 16:2016:20, 14 September 2020 diff hist +551 Serialism Undid revision 978315352 by Wukai (talk). I just encountered this Horn article and returned to this WP entry to add it because it is completely on the topic on which this article dwells for so long. There's nothing "original research" about it. If you read the article, you find that it isn't any more "original research" than Lerdahl, Mosch, Heineman, and so forth. It actually quotes the same Babbitt comment as is already here.
