Raising?

Shouldn't it be LOWERING E, A & B? The Pythagorean E is way too sharp, even compared to the equal temperament E which is still 13.7 cents sharper than the pure beatless E of Just Intonation. 120.21.50.167 (talk) 00:40, 24 April 2018 (UTC) A banned Wankerpedian[reply]

Ptolemy's intense diatonic is different?

According to "Solomon, J 1999, Ptolemy's Harmonics: Translation and Commentary. Brill, Leiden." Ptolemy's intense diatonic has the following structure: t - T - s - T - t - T - s not T - t - s - T - t - T - s although the carving up of the tetrachord uses the same intervals but it is symmetric. --kupirijo (talk) 16:06, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not new at all

Ptolemy, like so many Yavanas before, stole Vedic wisdom and falsely claimed ownership. Otherwise known as plagiarism, a crime in Western courts.

I am a musician. It makes no difference tuning my digital keyboard to GANDHAR tuning or PTOLEMY'S INTENSE DIATONIC. They're both exactly the same.

Before you edit war my correction, grab yourself a digital keyboard and try it yourself. Then go and fuck yourself when you realise how fucking wrong you were all along. No need to apologise. You're obviously stupid. Ningnongtwit (talk) 17:06, 17 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
