The B-Day World Tour is concert tour by American singer, songwriter, and actress Beyonce Knowles. The tour will be in support of Beyonce's hit album "B-Day". The tour will visit Japan, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, in addition to North America. The tour kicks off April 10 at the 56,000 seat Tokyo Dome in Tokyo and is currently slated to end mid-September. Beyonce will be backed by a 10-piece all-female band. The backing band and dancers for the tour were chosen via natiowide audition. Rehearsals for the tour start in March 2007. A DVD of the concert tour is scheuled for release in 2008.
