Lighthouse and naval vessel urban legend
[edit]- ... that the Swedish company Silva compass dramatized the "I'm a lighthouse. Your call" urban legend in an award-winning 2004 commercial?
- ALT1:... that former U.S. Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell suggested in a 2008 speech that there were audio recordings proving the "I'm a lighthouse. Your call" urban legend really happened?
- ALT2:... that the Military Officers Association of America reports that it gets the "I'm a lighthouse. Your call" urban legend forwarded to it an average of three times a day?
- Reviewed: Praise to the Lord, the Almighty
- Comment: If somebody thinks that they can make the two images I used in the lead work in this context, please do.

- Original and ALT2 good to go. Although this discussion calls Snopes reliable, I do not feel comfortable with the hook fact hanging on it. I prefer the original. Crisco 1492 (talk) 07:39, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
- Well, there are other sources for it (Snopes cites them; perhaps I should). However, I could also see an argument being made that it's an unduly negative fact hung on a BLP, and I don't mind either of the other two. Daniel Case (talk) 15:08, 22 September 2011 (UTC)
