The North Dakota State Poetry Society (MSPS) is a non-profit state-level poetry association in the U.S. state of North Dakota, which affiliated with the National Federation of State Poetry Societies (NFSPS) in 2020.[1][2] The organization promotes poetry, conducts monthly and annual contests,[3] publishes poetry and organizes periodic meetings, workshops and festivals.

Benefits

Membership in the North Dakota State Poetry Society provides membership in the National Federation of State Poetry Societies, which means members are eligible to enter their contests and receive discounted rates for some of the cotnest entries. Membership also includes:

  • Copies of the fall and spring issues of Pasque Petals, plus the winning chapbook
  • Reduced fees to submit to the chapbook competition, contests, and Pasque Petals
  • Eligibility for mini-grants
  • Ability to nominate for a poet of merit award
  • Eligibility to contribute to website content
