Contact with police . . .

I am removing the information about Calvert's contact with the police because he was not arrested nor charged with a crime. A Los Angeles Times article of April 27, 1994, states:

Corona Police Capt. John Dalzell said Calvert was not detained or arrested because "while the officer saw certain things, he didn't see everything necessary to support a finding that a crime was committed." Dalzell said there was no witness to an exchange of money for services, and neither party claimed to be a victim. Dalzell said Calvert did not try to exert influence to avoid arrest. He said the officer's decision not to pursue the matter "wasn't a close call. He didn't even call for a supervisor."

I agree that the wording should be corrected if he wasn't actually arrested, but considering the amount of media attention this received, I don't think it should be blanked entirely. Arbor8 (talk) 14:56, 4 November 2011 (UTC)
Why don't we mention he admitted to having sexual relations in the car with the woman? [1]. Seems whitewashy to me. Hipocrite (talk) 21:13, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
And the new source appears to back up the claim - but not any claim of payment, and the police lacked evidence of payment for sex. Hence no arrest or conviction, and of fairly minor weight in a BLP at most. Cheers. Collect (talk) 21:20, 8 April 2014 (UTC)
