Cryptomyrus is a genus of mormyrid fish native to Gabon.[1]

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1][2]

- Cryptomyrus ona J. P. Sullivan, Lavoué & C. D. Hopkins, 2016 (Nyanga elephantfish)
