A tag has been placed on Draft:Diana Butler OAM, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. August 2021

I have removed all the material you added to Care for Africa. Putting aside the extreme promotional nature of the material, which is in and of itself impermissible per Wikipedia's policies, much of it was copyright infringement. Most of the infringing material came from the organization's website, and some from UNICEF's website. You have been warned above about about your conflict of interest. I am reinforcing that warning. Do not edit the article directly for any reason. If you do, you risk being blocked. If you want to make changes to the article, you must propose them on the article Talk page. In addition, before you make any more edits, you must make a declaration on your userpage of your conflict of interest.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:42, 4 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Bbb23 in 2007, I was working for Matilda Media under my friend, the late Alex Hartman. We had a shared Wikipedia account, which I think was "Matilda". However, that account was still active as of last month, so... maybe not? I have since been informed that sharing a Wikipedia account is forbidden, and I will never do that again. Hi there BBb23,

Thank you for your edits and clarifications. I have a BA majoring in history and have been a journalist with Associated Press, Agence France Presse and other agencies and am staunchly aware of the implications of unbiased referencing. I refute your claims that the creation of this page is "extreme promotional nature". Diana Butler is a public figure. Please see the page for Hugh Evans (Humanitarian) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hugh_Evans_(humanitarian) as an example of the genre being followed here. I have previously worked with Mr Evans and am friends with his mother, I have made some contributions on that page too under an historic name based on information I have seen in the public sphere that was not referenced on the page. I do not believe that having professional knowledge and using multiple sources precludes a writer from creating or updating pages on public figures as a 'conflict of interest' under Wikipedia's terms.

My conflict of interest is that I volunteer my services to ensure there is accurate public information about Care for Africa and other organisations made available across sources in line with other publicly available information.

Please reconsider this deletion and provide feedback on the parts you believe to be inappropriate and we can work together to resolve this rather than outright deleting it.

What was the name of the account you used to edit Hugh Evans (humanitarian)?--Bbb23 (talk) 02:13, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I believe it was Matilda or Matilda Media? Worldsendart (talk) 02:37, 5 August 2021 (UTC) worldsendart[reply]
Is User:Matilda you? That's the only Matilda who edited the article. I'm logging off shortly, so I won't be able to complete this conversation until tomorrow.--Bbb23 (talk) 03:18, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I just deleted the mess you added. First, as I told you before, copyright infringement is impermissible, and some of what you proposed was again infringing. If you do that again, regardless of anything else, I will block you. Second, the rest of it was the same promotional material as before; you put some of it in long quotations to try to avoid copyright infringement. Wikipedia is not a WP:QUOTEFARM. Finally, you did not answer my question about your other account. Please answer it before you do anything else.--Bbb23 (talk) 07:14, 5 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is the proposed new version for Care for Africa:

Care for Africa (formally, the Peter Hewitt Care for Africa Foundation) (source: https://abr.business.gov.au/ABN/View?abn=44524878796) is is an Australian-based, non-government organisation that specialises in international aid in the Tarime District in the Mara Region of Tanzania.

The organisation is registered with the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) (source: https://acfid.asn.au/about/meet-our-members) and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) (source: https://www.acnc.gov.au/charity?name_abn%5B0%5D=1406476&facet__select__field_beneficiaries=0&facet__select__field_countries=0&facet__select__acnc_search_api_sub_history=0&facet__select__field_status=0#search).

Care for Africa was founded in 2007 by a medical staff at the Launceston General Hospital including emergency nurse and CEO Diana Butler OAM  (source: https://www.abc.net.au/news/2007-12-07/care-for-africa-prompts-surgeons-award/980420)  and the late Dr Peter Hewitt (source:https://www.examiner.com.au/story/1226205/in-caring-hands-interns-hit-the-wards/), initially in response to a need for medical supplies, as of 2021 the organisation delivers programs in water, health, education and social enterprise.

The organisation made up of an operational team of volunteers in Australia and paid staff in Tanzania (source: Summers, E., 2021. Care for Africa Annual Report 2020. [online] Careforafrica.org.au. Available at: <https://careforafrica.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/CFAAR2020.pdf> [Accessed 5 August 2021]).

PS I am embarrassed about the tone and scope of my previous work and have adjusted significantly with feedback from multiple assistant who have been really helpful. Thanks in large part to the help chat admins.

I am happy also to declare a COI on my page about previous work done with C4A in accordance with your advice Bbb23. I do spend my time volunteering with NFPs in general and will be happy to name them all so as to prevent any misrepresentation of any COIs going forward.
