Pierina Morosini
Pierina Morosini was born in Fiobbio a frazione of Albino on 7 January 1931 daughter of Rocco Morosini and Sara Noris two farmer.
Pierina the first of nine sibiling grew up in a small village near the mountains in very difficoult time during world war II.In the zone of Bergamo ( the most important city ) at the time the people had a stromg Roman catholic worship an Pierina became soon a member of Catholic action.
Pierina became a worker like many other young woman of Fiobbio a worker in a textile plant in Albino.
The Murder
On 4 April 1957 Pierina,that was not married, refuse to have sex with a man then he killed her with a stone.
The Beatification
The Diocesan trial of his beatification process was closed in 1976 by bishop Clemante Gaddi.
Pope John Paul II declare blessed Pierina on 4 October1987 in St Peter Basilica Vatican City.
