Korede Adedoyin (born 14 November 2000) is an Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Sheffield Wednesday.
Club career
Early career
Having joined the Everton academy at the age of 10, Adedoyin signed his first pro-contract on 6 July 2019.[1] He was almost immediately sent on a season-long loan to Scottish side Hamilton Academical.[2] On returning to Everton at the end of the season, he was released at the end of his contract.[3]
Sheffield Wednesday
Following a successful trial with the club, Adedoyin joined Sheffield Wednesday on the 12 September 2020.[4] He struggled to make an impact in his first season after suffering a hamstring strain,[5] but eventually made his debut against Newcastle United U21 in the EFL Trophy on the 31 August 2021, coming on as a second half substitute to replace Sylla Sow.[6]
