  • Comment: DGG is correct. It was an oversight on my part. I somehow didn't read the VC thing and directly went on to search for cited publications at Google Scholar. Subject is notable. Nomadicghumakkad (talk) 02:36, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
  • Comment: notable as head of a university--vice chancellor in systems derived from the UK, including Bangladesh, is the effective head. the Chancellor is purely ceremonial, usually a politician. (The key question is that as written, this only applies to major universities and colleges, but the practice at afd has been to accept any, but not a junior 2 yr college)
The most recent review by Nomadicghumakkad is therefore totally irrelevant-The relevant standard is not whether there are third party sources to meet GNG. The relevant standard is WP:PROF.
We do need RS for the facts of his life. The google translation of Ref. 5 , a apparently reliable Bangladeshi source, provides them. DGG ( talk ) 00:03, 5 August 2021 (UTC)
  • Comment: He doesn't look notable to me but pinging DGG for input... Calliopejen1 (talk) 07:23, 4 August 2021 (UTC)
