Ulysses (given name)

This is an old revision of this page, as edited by 114.72.76.18 (talk) at 04:47, 27 September 2021 (Amended pronunciation: in UK English it is still pronounced by many with the "correct" Latinate stress on the second syllable – just as it always has been in the US; the first-syllable stress is regarded by many as a strange modern quirk that somehow became fashionable, especially for referring to Joyce's novel; but it has not caught on universally; in the record and talk page I see no discussion or note explaining the omission that I now seek to rectify; amended re famousness of the name, also).
