Pristyn Care is a Gurgaon-based health-tech startup that provides medical and minimally invasive surgical treatments to patients.[2][3] The main focus of Pristyn Care is offering full-stack healthcare services in a seamless manner. The healthcare company started its services in Gurgaon and expanded to other metro cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Kolkata.[4]

In India, the residents of Tier II and Tier III cities had to migrate or travel to metro cities for medical care as these services were not available in these locations. Pristyn Care resolved this challenge by expanding the medical services to Tier II and Tier III cities as well.[5]

At present, Pristyn Care provides super-specialty care for Proctology, Laparoscopy, Gynaecology, Vascular, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Fertility, Aesthetics, and Urology.[2]

It is one of the fastest companies to become a unicorn in India. [6] [7]

History

Pristyn Care was founded in 2018 by Harsimarbir Singh, Dr. Vaibhav Kapoor, and Dr. Garima Sawhney. The organization was built with a vision to provide patient-centric care to the patients throughout the surgical treatment journey.[8] In 2019, Pristyn Care had around 70+ clinics with 250+ partnered hospitals across 14 cities. The in-house surgeons were around 70+.[9] Over time, the company expanded the services and acquired more clinics, hospitals, and doctors to make advanced treatment accessible for as many people as possible. Currently, with an ecosystem of 100+ clinics, 700+ partner hospitals, and 300+ in-house super-specialty doctors, the company has established itself in 40+ cities across India.[10] The doctors employ the latest medical technologies that were earlier usually limited to corporate hospitals of metro cities and Tier 2 cities.

Partnerships

During the 2020 lockdown due to the COVID-19 second wave, Pristyn Care set up an end-to-end ecosystem of telemedicine and COVID-19 testing for everyone. A control room was established to address the queries related to COVID-19 through a dedicated helpline - Eight zero one triple zero double two double six.[14] [15] The control room functioned according to the safety protocols laid by WHO and the Ministry of Health to profile the high-risk segments of the population. Through online consultations, Pristyn Care doctors addressed generic queries of the patients regarding cough, cold, fever, aches, pain, etc., and prescribe suitable medicines and treatment.

Pristyn Care also partnered with over 50 laboratories across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Chennai, and Hyderabad to conduct COVID-19 tests, with authorization of the Government of India and the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).[16][17]

Urban Company also partnered with Pristyn Care during the treatment to leverage the 50+ ICMR approved labs across 20 cities.[18] [19][20]

Pristyn Care partnership also extended with Delhi Police to provide 10,000 medical masks to the department of the South-West District.[21][22][23][24] The company stayed in touch with local authorities and fulfilled the daily requirements of the police personnel to provide them protection against the infection.

In April 2021, Pristyn Care inaugurated the COVID-19 Treatment Centre in Gurgaon to aid the people. The centre houses 60 beds and is equipped with oxygen support, medicines, and food along with round-the-clock assistance from the dedicated team of medical specialists and nursing staff.[25] Later in May, another centre in Bangalore was also opened to provide the same medical services to needy patients.
