A fact from Wildlife of Zanzibar appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 29 June 2011 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the wildlife of Zanzibar included its own species of leopard (mounted specimen pictured) that survived from the ice age but may now be extinct?
The respective image shows neither black heron (Egretta ardesiaca) nor great white egret (Ardea alba).
The dark bird is a dark morph dimorphic heron (Egretta (garzetta/schistacea) dimorpha). The two white birds are white morph dimorphic herons and/or nominate little egrets (Egretta garzetta garzetta): taxonomy, status and field characters of East African egrets are (as of 2010) still not fully resolved. Therefore it is difficult to write a caption that is both simple and correct.
