The user, whose real name is the same as his username, is a man born in Jakarta in 1991 who currently resides in Banten. He is a graduate of Computer Science from Binus University and currently working in a financial service company.

Contributions

William first registered on Indonesian Wikipedia on 5 June 2009. After that, he also contributed to several other language Wikipedias and other Wikimedia projects. On 17 June 2012, he was entrusted with the role of editor on Indonesian Wikipedia, and on 15 July 2021, he was transferred as reviewer. As of 2022, he has over 3500 edits recorded.

William made his first contribution on 22 June 2009 by editing Higurashi no Naku Koro ni page. On the same day, he also created Seven Samurai page which was improved continuously until it was chosen as Japan Portal featured article period 17–23 August 2009. On 25 June 2009, he uploaded his first file, Sevensamurai.jpg.

His contributions revolve around translating pages (usually from the English Wikipedia) so that they are became available in Indonesian. Most of the contributions also related to Japanese culture, like anime. He has also joined the fight against vandalism, was started by reverting Katana page nonsense writing on 25 June 2009. In addition, he often adds links and makes redirects.
