Merge proposal from June

It has been proposed that Sheik be merged into Sheikh (disambiguation). Leschnei (talk) 13:06, 24 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disagree. I think that the resulting disambiguation page would be too long, especially since Sheikh (disambiguation) includes Shaikh and Sheykh. Perhaps there is another arrangement that would be better - split off 'Sheykh' or a separate name page including all spellings? Leschnei (talk) 11:29, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Closing, given the uncontested objection, no support, and no case made, with stale discussion. Klbrain (talk) 13:43, 17 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

“They say everything can be replaced”

”Sheik” is surely the most frequent spelling among us world-ignorant Yank shitheads, and our arrogance is a reason for (not against) treating it, on ‘’this’’ page and (as the final variant!) can do no harm greater than its prior omission.

(Also, “… ev’ry distance just ain’t near…”)
Oh, and inspite of all our contrary pretensions (and hopefully inspite of der neue Hiedler’s)…
AND The dab page discussion sounds screwy, but it’s a hill
far less worthy of considering … well … EDITTING ON.
