Portal:Sandbox[edit]

Please remember to also delete subpages:

A copy of an old version of Portal:Science. It hasn't been used in 2.5 years and isn't set up like a sandbox. If there was an actual interest in having a sandbox portal, I suppose that's worth considering, although most editors who create portals wouldn't really need a sandbox to test with or, if they did, would know how to just do it in their user space. • If I remember correctly, the sandbox was for teaching another editor how to create a portal. But, the sandbox is not in use now, so it can be deleted, unless someone else wants to use it. --Aude (talk) 05:40, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    • Ok. I wouldn't be horribly opposed to creating a real sandbox portal if there were demand for it. But I'm just not convinced it would be very useful since there's so much inconsistency with the way our portals are set up anyway. (Some rotate monthly/daily/weekly. Some use randomly selected content. Some have new content every month/day/week. Some mix and match.) --B (talk) 06:38, 22 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
