The Olivier Cornet Gallery is a contemporary commercial art gallery in Dublin, Ireland, owned and run by French-born Olivier Cornet [ɔ.li.vje kɔʁ.nɛ].[1][2][3]

History

Ceramics in the Olivier Cornet Gallery

Olivier Cornet organised and curated exhibitions of Irish visual art in various locations under the name "Olliart" from 2004. In 2012 he opened the Olivier Cornet Gallery at The Wooden Building, Temple Bar. In 2014 it moved to Cavendish Row, and in 2015 to its current location on Great Denmark Street, the former home of John Toler, 1st Earl of Norbury.[4]

Exhibitions

The gallery organises several exhibitions every year, and is open every day (except on Mondays) with free admission.[5] Yanny Petters, Eoin Mac Lochlainn, Claire Halpin, Jordi Forniés and Gerald Davis have exhibited there.[6] The gallery has gained a solid reputation for its thematic group shows[7] and its collaborative approach.[8]
