Happy New Year

I wish all my Wikipedia friends a happy new year. Let us hope that the pandemic fades away and we can all get back to a more normal life.

Belated Happy New Year

I have just realized that I had not archived the discussions finished in 2020. Nothing seems to have happened on this page so far this year.

Anyway, I wish a happy new year to my Wikipedia friends. I hope everyone is coping with the problems caused by the pandemic.

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:27, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Langley Hall Primary Academy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Primary school which does not meet WP:NSCHOOL

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I started this article quite a few years ago, because someone had overloaded the article on Langley, Berkshire, where I was born and raised, with a plethora of questionable information, inadequately referenced. I agree that it does not meet the WP criteria for articles on schools. I have an archive copy of the contents, which I could use if I ever had the energy and courage to write an article about Langley Hall, a building of some note. I am now old and preoccupied with various problems. LynwoodF (talk) 16:48, 18 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dalida

Hello. You are probably very fammiliar with the chaos recently happening concerning Dalida's nationality. One of those two users now threatened me on my talk page for possible blocking due to being engaged in edit war, with him. Isn't it biased to have edit war with someone, and then threaten other used for possible blocking. Not to mention he started it.

Overall, I presented in past days the link to photo of Dalida's identity card where it says NATIONALITE FRANCAISE. Those two editores continued to claim there is a possibility of dual citizenship. After I recieved threat couple minutes ago, I did a quick google search and found out this [1]. As Dalida died in 1987, I think things can't be more clear.

But what to do now? I don't want to edit the page anymore as I can get blocked.. Is there any admin help?Dalida Editor please ping or message me 20:28, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
