Hello,

Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.

Thanks!

Netherland Dwarf

Hello, your rabbit is very cute, but I feel your Netherland Dwarf picture is inappropriate for the Domestic Rabbit article because it pictures your rabbit being house on wire mesh, which is not safe for a rabbits feet. Would appreciate if you remove it.

The young rabbit in question is actually pictured in small temporary housing and has had a decent solid-floor cage for some time now. However it is common industrial practice for domestic rabbits to be housed is cages with mesh floors, and as long as proper resting areas are provided, such as a resting board, no harm is done to the rabbit's feet. I agree that this is not ideal housing for a rabbit, but it won't actually hurt them as long as proper care is taken to provide them with a non-mesh surface to rest on.
If you're strongly opposed to the image, go ahead and remove it from the article. However, the image was provided to show a good conformation to the dwarf body type in a very young rabbit, NOT the type of housing best suited for pet rabbits. --Krishva 16:32, 17 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
