International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing (IJEM) is a peer-reviewed, open-access, and multidisciplinary scientific journal covering the areas related to extreme manufacturing, ranging from fundamentals to process, measurement and systems, as well as materials, structures and devices with extreme functionalities.

Launched in 2019, IJEM is currently circulated quarterly and publishes scientific research, research reviews, perspective, editorial, and news. Articles in IJEM are freely available to everyone to read and reuse immediately upon publication, provided attribution to the author is given. Publication is funded by the journal's editorial office and no charges are required from the authors.[1]
