Entertainers Olsen&Johnson have received better offers elsewhere;and are eager to break their contract at Franklin Pangborn's nightclub.Pangborn is just as eager to keep them on at the low salary he signed them for.
The team takes drastic measures one night, destroying the club and subjecting the patrons to slapstick abuse. (Vernon Dent is pelted with mud when he toasts "Here's Mud In Your Eye";etc.)
Pangborn is so frightened by this display he sells the club to Ole&Chic just to get away from them.
But one insulted patron(Ed Brophy) has filed a damage suit against the team.Chic &Ole not only win the suit, the beginning law firm they hire to defend them ends up prospering from the publicity.
