Kickboxing career
Shoot Boxing
Zouggary made his professional debut in September 2013, during Dangerzone, when he faced Noah Apituley. He won the bout by KO. His second fight was during GP EAGLES Fight, when we won a decision over Renita Stanislav.[7]
These two wins earned him the notice of Shoot Boxing. He fought Hiroaki Suzuki at his debut with the organization, and lost a unanimous decision. Zouggary would then enter the 2014 S-Cup World Featherweight Tournament and score KO wins over Bovy Sor Udomson and Houcine Bennoui. In the final match of the tournament he fought Hiroaki Suzuki in a rematch. He lost once more, this time by TKO.[8]
Zakaria bounced back with a decision wins over Hiroki Shishido, a TKO win over Yuki and a decision win over Chuchai Hadesworkout. These three wins led him to a third fight with Hiroaki Suzuki. Zakaria avenged his previous two losses with a decision win.[9]
Following that, Zakaria lost to Koji Yoshimoto by TKO. His TKO wins over Yosuke Mizuochi and UMA earned him the right to participate in the 2016 S-Cup World Featherweight Tournament. He beat Hiroto Yamaguchi in the quarterfinal and Taplon Hadesworkout in the semifinals, before defeating MASAYA by TKO to win the tournament.[10]
After his title win he faced Ilias Bulaid for the Enfusion -67 kg Championship, but suffered a decision loss. He would beat Kaito before being signed with Glory.
GLORY
In his debut with the organization Zakaria beat Yetkin Özkul.[11] In his second fight he defeated Massaro Glunder.
In his third fight with the organization he suffered a head kick KO to the future featherweight champion Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9.
Zouggary bounced back with a win over Bailey Sugden, before dropping a decision to Aleksei Ulianov. He has since gone on a two fight winning streak, with wins over Abdellah Ezbiri and Asa Ten Pow.
