A tag has been placed on Everett Kaser Software, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 23:55, 18 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hello, the only major issues with it were that the content did not contain a neutral point of view and was written in a promotional tone. Refer to the other article that was linked to in the reference you provided on Talk: 3D Realms, it shows a good example of how to shape the article. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 01:09, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks a bundle...I will see what I can do yto improve on it before reposting it.Blipadouzi 12:19, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Your VandalProof Application
Dear Blipadouzi,
Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that you only have 86 mainspace edits. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 19:27, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks Betacommand...after I had initially applied, I went and looked at my contribution statistics and realised I did meet the necessary quota...but I figured there was no harm in trying. Seeing as my application was already there, I left it. However, this being said, do expect to see my name again once I hit 250. Thanks againBlipadouzi 19:59, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
Hi Blipadouzi! I noticed you removed the Willie on Wheels and Communism Vandal questions from the Wikipediholic test as vandalism. We appreciate your doing so, but I have added it back, since it isn't vandalism (this is the kind of question that should be removed, but isn't because of humor). Obviously, those vandals wouldn't be taking the test, but the questions are still there. It might, however, be necessary to remove that kind of question to shorten the test, but that would have to be discussed. Thanks for trying to help! | AndonicO Talk · Sign Here 01:04, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
- The only reason I removed them was because one quetion (Willie on Wheels) was marked for like (-100000000000) points or something silly like that...and the reason I marked them as vandalism was because of what is written when you click on the Communism link...It was only after I had removed them that I did want to mark them as vandalism...but as you know, we can't change our comments on our edits. Anyway, thanksBlipadouzi 09:31, 23 January 2007 (UTC)
