Young Living Essential Oils Page[edit]

Hello, I am planning to recreate the Young Living page for Young Living Essential Oils, this time using citations consisting of 4 separate FDA warning letters, an OSHA establishment inspection report, and various EPA documents. So, in other words, not spammy this time and actually chock-full of actual, real citations. Hopefully that's alright. I have no affiliation with the company, but have noticed what a lack of accurate information there is about the subject.Christopher Lotito (talk) 22:04, 9 June 2014 (UTC)

yea im an idiot. after further investigation it appears it is spelled correctly, although i do know for sure (I lived in the western part of El Salvador for 2 years) that it is pronouced and spelled by Salvadorans the way i spelled it :P Also, i apologize for being soo rude !!—Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 05:30, 15 January 2010 (UTC)

French legend of anatomical sketch[edit]

Hi Persian Poet Gal. I'm writing to you as the author of the french version of this image which depicts the peripheral nerves and contains text in french, translated from english. Would you be kind enough to rectify the following items, as I would like to use it to illustrate an article in fr:WP.

- "Nerfs de membrure intermédiaire" --> nerfs intercostaux
- "Nerf subcostal" --> nerf sous-costal
- "Nerf périnéal commun" --> nerf péronier commun (ou sciatique poplité externe)
- "Nerf périnéal profond" --> nerf péronier profond
- "Nerf périnéal superficiel" --> nerf péronier superficiel

Thanx for paying attention. Cheers : Archibald Tuttle (talk) 09:55, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Actually I am the author of the original English version of the nervous system diagram. The person who was kind enough to translate the diagram into French was User:Medium69 from the French Wikipedia. Perhaps if you get into contact with them, they can help you with the correction :)!¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 17:41, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Thanks again : I notified him right now. I Just hope this user will be able to read it soon : his last edit in fr:WP was done more than one month ago ! Archibald Tuttle (talk) 21:09, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

Peripheral Nervous System pic[edit]

Hi! I was wondering if I could please get a high-resolution copy of your CNS/PNS/male body custom picture but without the diagram lines and labels (and maybe without the shadowing effect too). It would be for my own personal use, not commercial or even academic. If you're okay with that, let me know how I can go about contacting you in a secure fashion in which I can give you my email address. I will check you page occasionally for a response. Thank you, and great work by the way!

A question about :Nervous_system_diagram_(dumb).png[edit]

Dear Persian Poet Gal,

I would like to use the item in an educational slide show in an education site. The site is not open to the public. I do not understand the license of the item. Is it release to the public domain or is it licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 2.0 France? I also would like to know what credit line should I write - is it your name or William Crochot name or maybe both of you? I would very much appreciate your clarifications. Thank you in advance for your kind help. Best reagrds, Daur11 (talk) 12:47, 13 February 2011 (UTC)

I was about to enter data from an article by CAIS (Cirlce of Ancient Iranian Studies) as I was encountered with a message that stated that the site has been listed on the "block list." The site is found online at http://www.cais-soas(dot)com. Unfortuantely I can not type the whole URL as it will tigger a blockage as well. This site as per my survery is entirely educational, granted its quality is not optimal. I found some of the articles on it to be extensive, with good sourcing and frankly the reasons listed for its original block are at best tenative. How do I go on about requesting to unblock this website? I also like to konw how you feel about the chances of it being unblocked. Again, I believe it would offer a great source for the Wikipedia specially on the topic of Persian history, literature, and architecture. I am looking forward to your input. Basically, where do I start? Thanks! Dr. Persi (talk) 02:27, 23 April 2011 (UTC)

Suspension of admin privileges due to inactivity[edit]

Following a community discussion in June 2011, consensus was reached to provisionally suspend the administrative privileges of users who have been inactive for one year, meaning administrators who have made neither any edits nor any logged actions in over one year. As a result of this discussion, your administrative privileges have been removed pending your return. If you wish to have these privileges reinstated, please post to the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard and the userright will be restored per the re-sysopping process (i.e., as long as the attending bureaucrats are reasonably satisfied that your account has not been compromised and that your inactivity did not have the effect of evading scrutiny of any actions which might have led to sanctions). This removal of access is procedural only, and not intended to reflect negatively upon you in any way. We wish you the best in future endeavors, and thank you for your past administrative efforts. Note from Persian Poet Gal[edit]

I spoke to Persian Poet Gal recently, and she requested I leave a note for her here to say that she is okay, and that the reason for her inactivity is because she is extremely busy in real-life, and a return to Wikipedia does not seem likely, at least for now. She also gave me permission to remove her admin icons, as I thought it was better a friend did that for her rather than a bot. Acalamari 21:20, 11 July 2011 (UTC)

Notice of change[edit]

Hello. You are receiving this message because of a recent change to the administrator policy that alters what you were told at the time of your desysopping. The effect of the change is that if you are inactive for a continuous three year period, you will be unable to request return of the administrative user right. This includes inactive time prior to your desysopping if you were desysopped for inactivity and inactive time prior to the change in policy. Inactivity is defined as the absence of edits or logged actions. Until such time as you have been inactive for three years, you may request return of the tools at the bureaucrats' noticeboard. After you have been inactive for three years, you may seek return of the tools only through WP:RFA. Thank you. MBisanz talk 00:20, 4 December 2012 (UTC)

Hey PPG please come back. Wikipedia isn't the same without you. You were a fine good admin. We are short on admins now. Come back please Callan Eccleston (talk) 05:05, 21 July 2016 (UTC)

I found a file of yours on Wikimedia Commons ( I would like to use in an elementary science manual I'm creating. Currently, it would just used by my homeschool class (about 17 students) but there's a chance that the publisher of the textbook I'm using would pick it up. If they do, I would be paid a modest amount and the manual would be available as a free download on the publisher's website. The manual is approximately 70-80 pages long, and your image appears on one of the interior pages. I did make some slight modifications to the labels of it so that the students could "fill in the blank". I can show you final copy of it, which shows my modifications, as well as how it would be attributed. Please let me know if this is acceptable to you and how best to get a copy to you for review. Not sure how communication really works through Wikipedia as I've never done it. The best email to respond to is

VanClanMomma, PPG hasn't edited Wikipedia for some years. You don't need to get permission to reuse files from Commons, which is an open-source project, but you do need to attribute them—the attribution requirements for this particular file are here. ‑ Iridescent 16:01, 21 October 2016 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of File:Reblock-NAS.PNG[edit]

The file File:Reblock-NAS.PNG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused file

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Requesting to use one of your images from Wikipedia[edit]

Hello there, I was wondering if it is possible to use one of your images I found on Wikipedia of the human nervous system for a book I am writing on martial arts. I contacted Wikipedia but they told me to contact the author. The image I am asking about is here at this link It stated you give all permissions, but I couldn't find your real name to place under the reference page, I wasn't sure if you cared or not or if you would like me to even put your name on my reference page and just leave it as a Wiki reference.

Thank you for your time. Brandonmp2001 (talk) 02:10, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Brandon Schild

User:Persian Poet Gal/Talk other stuff/Border[edit]

I was fixing lint errors, in particular Tidy bug affecting font tags wrapping links, and I was working on User:CorbieVreccan/Admin Toolbox, which has several calls to {{User:Persian Poet Gal/Talk other stuff/Border}}, so that got me to attempt to linting that template. It's a bit beyond my skills, and I wouldn't want to edit it to remove lint errors unless I could be certain that I preserved its functionality. As you understand what's going on much better than I do, maybe you can fix the lint errors, of which there are 3:

  1. <table> is missing its closing </table>
  2. <h3> is missing its closing </h3>
  3. <font> is obsolete and you're supposed to replace it with <span style...>

  1. I think the closing </table> would go at the very end.
  2. I think the closing </h3> would go just before </TD>.
  3. I tried changing
<font face="{{{hfont}}}" color="{{{tcolor}}}">'''{{{header}}}'''</font>

<span style="font-family: {{{hfont}}}; color: {{{tcolor}}};">'''{{{header}}}'''</span>

but this changed the preview from green to black, so I'm probably missing something.

One more thing: in the comment at the top, please change "peak" to "peek". —Anomalocaris (talk) 11:11, 24 November 2017 (UTC)
