I suggest you read the set of rules a bit. Specially the parts on Tendentious editing, Neutral Point of View and Sourcing of Articles. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 14:13, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there. We just happen to have a disagreement, including your reasoning behind why the quote should not be included, which we were civilly discussing on the talk page. And this disagreement is not something new, as two years ago, at least 3 users opposed your ideas for a whole year except for a banned user. And then you have decided to remove the quote half a year later, which passed users' attention. If a source is not NPOV, you should delete it and not compress it to plain accusation. My edits on Kurdification and Tell Abyad are mostly a revert based on the dispute, for which you even asked if there was an opposition in Fall 2021, and you still faced some. I feel as if there is a growing tension, especially from your emotion-filled comments on Kurdification's talk page, but I don't want to be the target of an old dispute that you faced opposition on several occasions. Thank you for the useful links. I wish you a great weekend. Ayıntaplı (talk) 14:48, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hm. I have just seen Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Brûkî27. If this turns out to be true, I'll remove the block, of course. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 19:58, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Although I believe that it will add to me more than take, I was quite surprised by this. Two weeks ago, I had already spent a great deal of time editing pages like Kurds in Lebanon, because they were drowned with content not supported with any sources by accounts banned by sockpuppetry ([1]). And Brûkî27's interests and edits were largely similar, almost always involving unsourced material, removal of sourced material, reverts, or sources that didn't support the edit. I previously notified him/her of the disruptive edits, though didn't directly give a warning, and this user was already banned for a few hours after the 4 warnings by other users. I finally used my brain to file a sock puppet investigation 5 days ago. However, Brûkî27 didn't stop after the ban and continued with similar edits, and I couldn't get a reply for the investigation (for understandable reasons). This whole process wasn't influenced by any goal to use Wikipedia as an ideological battleground, because all of my reverts of Brûkî27's edits were based on whether the source supported the claim or not. Though, unlike some of the suspected sockpuppets, Brûkî27 didn't directly start an edit war until now. I was quite surprised to find that he/she started a frenzy of removing sourced information and reverting my edits, which was the exact behavior of the suspected sockpuppets. Surprised and persuaded through "the duck test," my first instinct was to revert and then report for vandalism along with edit summaries which, as I suspect, caused my ban. Before this, I always tried to be nice in my comments by thanking people that I had disagreements with in talk pages, but I was immensely amateur in controlling the situation and inadequate for Wikipedia's standards. I am ashamed of my self-entitled style in one of my edit descriptions, saying "or you will be banned," as if I have the authority. In either case of my ban, I am okay. Thank you for seeing Brûkî27's case. Ayıntaplı (talk) 21:09, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

To be fair, the username similarity combined with the focus on Kurds/Kurdistan is so clear that I can already accept this unblock request. Reverting edits made by a sockpuppet is fine (WP:BE), so there's nothing to complain about. When I placed the block, the situation looked more like a battlefield, spread across many pages with edit warring over the origins of people, which would be pretty disruptive from both editors if both editors' edits were legitimate. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 21:36, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Syria ethnicity

It would be good if you could restore the Columbia source, because that shouldn't have just been deleted, and then perhaps you can join me in the discussion that I've opened on the talk page for Syria to discuss this topic. "Levantines" seems like a problematic term, so it would be good to hear what you think it means. Iskandar323 (talk) 08:41, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I believe “Levantine” refers to various Arabic-speaking Christian communities like the Antiochian Greeks. I explained why Izady should not be included as a source in the talk page. Ayıntaplı (talk) 16:45, 18 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ingush people

Hey there! I’ve seen you’ve undone my edit on Ingush people page. I would like to know why. Most information on Ingush people needs revision because it’s not neutral but biased, there are also a lot of grammar mistakes as well. Franklin Benjamin 123 (talk) 17:05, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
I took that as a precaution, because in your edit summary, you've mentioned that you replaced the content with "neutral" history, while removing many sources. I would suggest that in each edit, you may want to explain what's wrong with each source, such as not verifying the information it is supposed to support. You can also remove unsourced content. I also noticed a lot of problems such as punctuation and grammar, but doing all in one big edit without much explanation is problematic, because anyone can easily oppose the edit. Barak Turkmens moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Barak Turkmens, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
