Kieran Donnelly is an Irish Gaelic footballing player and coach and manager. He is the Fermanagh team.[clarification needed] He has been on the Fermanagh team since 2021 when he got the job. Donnelly is Brookeborough native and he worked under Peter Canavan when Canavan was manager and before he took over in Fermanagh he was the manager who got Scotstown to the 2018 Ulster Final and has done coaching with schools.[1] Donnelly also played for Fermanagh and when before he took the job he was working with Cavan Gaels.[2] It is hard work being manager of Fermanagh.[original research?] Fermanagh never won an Ulster Title. After playing for Fermanagh, he managed the minor team and also helped train the senior side when Peter Canavan was at the head of things.[3] He was in fact Fermanagh assistant manager with Canavan and when he got the job himself he was 45 years of age and 21 years teaching at Omagh CBS, having made his Fermanagh debut under another Tyrone native Pat King back in 1996, and going onto win an All-Ireland Senior B Championship and a Dr McKenna Cup, went toe-to-toe with Cavan the year they won the 1997 Ulster Final, and Donnelly played in NFL Division 1 under managers Dominic Corrigan and John Maughan.[4]
