Colorized Black-and-White Cartoons/Edit Request 8/11/2017

Wouldn't be a good idea to separate the cartoons and animated short films from this list? They should be placed on a new article that could be named List of black-and-white animated films that have been colorized or something like that. One reason for this is that the article we have now is getting cluttered with both regular films and cartoons. Also, this will provided more info about the cartoons and how and when they were colorized. For example, 78 black-and white Looney Tunes cartoons were redrawn colorized in 1968 and then between 1990 and 1995 they were digitally colored with computers. This would also help if a cartoon had been colorized two or more times by different companies. For example, the Merry Melodies cartoon "I Like Mountain Music" (1933) was redrawn at least twice, first by Radio and Television Packagers in 1973, then by Turner in 1995. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 20:40, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I think splitting the list into separate sections of features and shorts is a good idea. I don't know that there need to be separate pages yet, though. Trivialist (talk) 21:27, 11 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I guess that could work for now, Trivialist. The only real challenge is figuring out how many black-and-white cartoons have been colorized and which process was used (either hand-drawn colorization or digital colorization). This list is probably gonna take a long time to complete, isn't it? Luckily I know a few sources about some colorized cartoons ranging from the 1968 redrawn Looney Tunes to the Radio and Television Packagers library redraws and various others. --JCC the Alternate Historian (talk) 14:00, 12 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
