You're right about the initials, as far as I'm concerned, but will you please not cuss at other editors in edit summaries? Thanks. Drmies (talk) 23:08, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- I do apologise but it is so frustrating that this person will not stop imposing their own weird ideas on the site. I am to some extent giving him a taste of his own medicine because if you look through his edit summary history, you'll see that he persistently abuses other editors. I'll tone it down. Apologies again and best wishes. 92.17.5.232 (talk) 23:12, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Well, there are ways to handle that--WP:ANI is one of them. Admins (like me), as unfair as it is, look more favorably upon those who keep their cool. It's more time and effort to write up a report and support it with diffs, but in the long term it's the better solution--because it may actually bring about a solution. Let me know if you have any questions. Take care, Drmies (talk) 23:41, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, Drmies. I will consider that. Again, best wishes. 92.17.5.232 (talk) 23:51, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
- Drmies, I thought about it and decided I should try and resolve matters directly in the first instance so I have written to Blue Square Thing and explained my issues. Thank you again for your help. I'm afraid I must leave now as I have things to attend to. Best. 92.17.5.232 (talk) 00:04, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Drmies: how do admins view sockpuppetry / editing by blocked users (BlackJack in this case)? He is pleading ignorance here but knows exactly what he is doing and continues to harass other users due to a feud that has existed for years from a range of temporary ip addresses. - Spike 'em, I can't speak for others but I strongly dislike it. I see you've found your way to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/BlackJack; please write up an additional report with some evidence: I am unfamiliar with the case. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 18:16, 2 January 2023 (UTC)
- Yeah, will do so when I'm next at a proper computer and not just on my phone. Spike 'em (talk) 18:29, 2 January 2023 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
