WikiProject Germany Invitation

[edit]

Hello, Rosiefromconcrete! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

Re: UEFA Euro 2008 warm-up matches

[edit]

You're welcome, and thanks for contributing to it! Yeah, I also think that many people are interested in these matches, but turned out many editors think otherwise... I was considering taking the article to Wikipedia:Deletion review, but couldn't quite come up with a good reason (Wikipedia guideline or policy) to "restore" the article back to the encyclopedia. Perhaps you have any ideas? :)  ARTYOM  22:06, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like it was partly my fault because I once pointed out, in response to the deletion of UEFA Cup 2007-08 first round (an article that was intended for having match reports of the first round of this season's UEFA Cup), that that article is probably more notable than the Euro warm-up matches. That resulted in the nomination of this article!  ARTYOM  19:09, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oddo and Italy national football team

[edit]

Oddo is no longer playing with Itay (last cap on February) and new coach Lippi doesn't like his style of play. So you can't said that today he is part of the national team. You can say that he was an international player. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.21.231.73 (talk) 17:23, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That wasn't his last cap. Anyway, I just thought that since Inzaghi is noted as a nat. team player, Oddo who played much more games for Italy than him in the past year(s) could be refered to as 'Italy's player'... --Rosiefromconcrete (talk) 17:47, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Survey

[edit]

Hi Rosie!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you!
