August 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. –CapitalLetterBeginning (talk) 10:30, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Hi Ollie,
I wanted to discuss a recent situation concerning our collaborative work on Wikipedia.
It appears there has been a misunderstanding where some of the enhancements I introduced were possibly misconstrued as spam, which led to a reversion of the changes made.
I assure you that the intention was solely to improve the quality of the article in line with Wikipedia's standards, and certainly not to disrupt or detract from it in any way.
I'm eager to resolve this misunderstanding and continue our constructive collaboration on this project.
Best regards,
Steinar Calxibe (talk) 19:10, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Regardless of what your intentions might be, what you are doing is spamming Wikipedia. You've been warned and temporarily blocked for it before. If it continues you can expect a permanent block and for your websites to be added to Wikipedia's spam blacklist. MrOllie (talk) 19:17, 14 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
