Just a casual look in google books got me at least one source who said the language might be highly endangered, so this is not a case for protection. Declined because I don't think protection is the right approach for this. I doubt this is block evasion, but I've blocked a number of the edit-warring vandal's IP ranges. Declined. @Ajeeb Prani: you are expected to explain why you're reverting. It's not obvious to me why these edits are disruptive; it seems to me like you're just reverting every new addition to the article including some which are clearly not disruptive.
