Japan is scheduled to compete at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.[1][2] Earlier the event was scheduled to held in September 2022[3] but due to COVID-19 pandemic cases rising in China the event was postponed and rescheduled to September–October 2023.[4][5] Japan competed with 769 athletes.
