Waist suppression

What does 'waist suppression' mean? It is not found in a Google search using /"waist suppression" definition/. Please don't use terms that are so hard to understand. From the two words, it could mean either an accented or a de-accented waist. Which is it?109.201.56.210 (talk) 01:33, 7 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

copy-paste-error?

This part seems to have been misplaced: "with its heavy waist suppression using a waist seam" - that is a description of one of the older pieces of men's clothing, put in here wrongly/ at the wrong place in the text/ sentence here.

See article 'Frock coat', section 'Cut'.
