Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Yuri belov 2005.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 19:19, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Putinavotstavku 30000.JPG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Violation of Three-revert rule

[edit]

Hello, Ybelov. You have done four reverts within 24 hours in Putin must go article, what's a violation of Wikipedia Three Revert Rule. I filed an official report [1]. Please, take care of the 3 RR another time you edit Wikipedia. ellol (talk) 20:11, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring at Putin must go

[edit]

Hello Ybelov. Please see the result of WP:AN3#User:Ybelov_reported_by_User:Ellol_.28Result:_Warned.29, which contains a warning to you. If you continue to revert the article without first getting consensus on the talk page, you may be blocked. The identity of signers of the online petition can't be easily confirmed. The names of well-known figures should *not* be included in our article as petition signers unless a reliable source confirms their status. (For example, a newspaper). If not, our policy on WP:Biographies of living persons may be violated. EdJohnston (talk) 19:15, 17 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have continued to remove reference to the counter campaign from the article even after you were warned for edit warring. If you remove this again, without getting a clear consensus on the Talk page, you may be blocked. EdJohnston (talk) 13:31, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File:Putin go Moscow 20March2010.JPG

[edit]

Hi Ybelov, in relation to File:Putin go Moscow 20March2010.JPG, I have left you a message on your Commons talk page, as the photo is missing licencing information.

Please note that at http://community.livejournal.com/namarsh_ru/3844394.html, you write "Хотел бы использовать фото мужчины с ребенком для статьи в Википедии. Разрешаете?". The response is "Конечно, да!". Unfortunately, we need more substantive permission in order for images to be allowed onto Commons. The permission as given only applies to Wikipedia, and doesn't specify that it is allowed to be modified, etc. You may wish to refer to ru:Википедия:Получение_разрешений for more information on how to request permission.

You may like to suggest to the author of the photos that they choose {{GFDL}}, {{CC-BY-3.0}} or {{CC-BY-SA-3.0}}. You may wish to give them a link to each of these licences and see if they would like to choose one of those. Additionally, you should point out to them that granting a licence also gives permission for the image/s to be modified and also used in a commercial setting, so long as the terms of the licence is met. If they reply on the LJ thread with a permitted licence, please leave a note on my Commons talk page, and I will check the thread and make the necessary adjustments to the image page and licence, etc. Any further questions, just ask. Cheers, --Russavia I'm chanting as we speak 05:13, 18 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Language Passport has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No independent sources. Does not meet WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Opposition (Russia), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Opposition (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:31 June Film.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:31 June Film.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 01:05, 20 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of M.NEWS

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on M.NEWS requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. GSS💬 10:24, 1 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:The logo of the publication M.NEWS.svg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:The logo of the publication M.NEWS.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:46, 2 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
