War 2 is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji.[1] Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner Yash Raj Films, It is the sixth Installment in the YRF Spy Universe.[clarification needed] The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani & N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the lead roles.[2]
War 2 is set to be theatrically released worldwide on 14 August 2025.[3]

Production
Development
On April 4, 2023, Yash Raj Films press released that Ayan Mukerji set to Direct the next installment of War (2019 film).[1]On April 6, 2023, Yash Raj Films press released that N. T. Rama Rao Jr. joining the Film and Hrithik Roshan set to reprise his role as Kabir Dhaliwal from War (2019 film).[2]On June 16, 2023, Yash Raj Films announced to press that Kiara Advani Joins the cast of War 2.[4]Benjamin Jasper will be the Cinematographer of War 2.
Filming
The First Schedule of War 2 took place in Spain for 12 days with Director Ayan Mukerji and the Stunt Doubles of NTR, Hrithik Roshan because of Devara - I and Fighter schedules in Hyderabad, Mumbai.[5]
Release
War 2 is scheduled for a theatrical release on 14 August 2025.[3]
