Minusinsk Depression (Russian: Минусинская котловина) is located among mountains of South Siberia: Kuznetsk Alatau, Eastern Sayans and Western Sayans. Its elevation varies between 200-700m, with sparse hillocks.

Yenisey and Abakan rivers flow through the valley. Major towns: Minusinsk and Abakan. The depression is an important agricultural area; it also has coal deposits.
