Old Fox (Chinese: 老狐狸; pinyin: lǎo hú li) is a 2023 Taiwanese drama film directed by Hsiao Ya-chuan. The film follows an 11-year-old boy who befriends his landlord, nicknamed Old Fox, and tells the story of Taiwan's rapidly changing society within the late 1980s.[1] The cast includes Liu Kuan-ting, Bai Run-yin, Akio Chen, Eugenie Liu, and Mugi Kadowaki. The film won a leading four Golden Horse Awards at the 60th Golden Horse Awards, including Best Director, Original Film Music, and Design Design Awards at the 60th Golden Horse Awards, and actor Chen Muyi won the Best Supporting Actor, Best Original Film Score, Best Makeup & Costume Design and Best Supporting Actor (Akio Chen).[2]
