Savannah Anne Kathleen Phillips (born 29 December 2010)[1], is the eldest child and daughter of Peter Phillips, and his ex-wife Autumn Phillips. She was the eldest great grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.[2] At the time of her birth she was 12th in British Line of Successsion, when she was born, but is now 18th. [3]

Infancy

Savannah was born on 29 December 2010 at Gloucestershire Royal Infirmary in Gloucestershire and is the eldest grandchild of Anne, Princess Royal.[4] Savannah's christening took place on 23 April 2011 at Church of the Holy Cross in Avening, Gloucestershire, near Gatcombe Park, the home of The Princess Royal. The Queen and Prince Phillip were both in attendance at her christening.

Education

Phillips is currently educated in Gloucestershire, she attends a private prep school. [5]

Official appearances

Savannah made her debut at the Queen's annual trooping the colour in 2017, where she stole the show by putting her hand over her cousin Prince George of Wales' mouth as he sung the English National Anthem. [6] In October 2018, she was made bridesmaid at Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding, alongside her cousins and younger sister Isla Phillips.[7]

Following the memorial service for his grandfather Prince Philip on 29 March 2022, Savannah joined her father, Peter, and sister, Isla, at the thanksgiving service at Westminster Abbey. [8] In June 2022, she joined her family in celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. She was spotted with her cousins, Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales during the pageant. [9]

Savannah was also in attendance at her great-grandmother's funeral on 18 September 2022. [10]

On 7 May 2023, during her great Uncle King Charles III Coronation weekend, she attended the coronation concert with her family. [11]

In August 2023, she joined her grandmother, Princess Anne, and her cousins at the Gatcombe Park for the British Eventing event. She supported her aunt Zara Tindall who was riding during the event.[12]

In January 2023, the young royal attended the New years day Cheltenham Races at the Cheltenham Racecourse alongside her sister, Isla and elder cousins, Mia and Lena Tindall. [13]
